Sessions and fees

Sessions 

All day session – 9am until 3pm.

Morning session – 9am until 12 noon.

Afternoon session – 12 noon until 3pm.

We also offer a breakfast club from 8.15am.

All sessions are term time only Monday to Friday, and we require a minimum of 2 sessions when registering.

Whiteley Pre-School are flexible to the ever changing needs of our parents.  Please contact us if you require extra and/or alternative sessions.

We are now registering children for September 2024 and beyond.  If you are thinking about registering your child at a local Pre-School and would like to make an appointment to visit either of our settings, or would like further information, please call 01489 565717 or email admin@whiteley-preschool.co.uk.  We are delighted to be able to show parents around our Pre-Schools!

Fees

Our current fees are set at £6 per hour, with a minimum attendance of two three hour sessions.

Each session costs the following:

Morning Session – £18.

Afternoon Session – £18.

All Day – £36.

Breakfast club is charged at £6 per 45min session.

There is also a £15 monthly contribution for snacks and consumables.

Prices will be reviewed annually and may be subject to change. Individual payment plans are available to parents upon request.

Uniform

Uniform

Although uniform is not mandatory at Whiteley Pre-School we strongly encourage our children to wear our uniform as it can play a key role in promoting the ethos of the Pre-School, providing a sense on belonging and identity and setting an appropriate tone for education.  It also helps build the routine of getting ready for Pre-School and eases the transition to ‘big school’.

We have a uniform of navy blue or white polo shirts with a navy jumper or cardigan.  Most children wear grey pinafores/skirts or trousers in the winter and grey shorts/skirts or navy gingham dresses in the summer term or their own leggings/joggers.

Snack time

A fruit or vegetable snack is offered by the preschool during the morning sessions. If you are attending an all-day session or an afternoon session then a packed lunch will need to be provided.

Hampshire County Council Grant Information

Every child in Hampshire is eligible for a Nursery Education Grant.  This will be paid the term after your child turns 3 years of age.  

There are three terms:

    • 1 January – 31 March
    • 1 April – 31 August
    • 1 September – 31 December

Completely free childcare is available for up to 15 hours per week when your child is eligible.  Parents are able to book additional sessions at a cost of £5 per hour.
