Parent support packs
Did you know that parents can have the largest impact on their child’s educational outcomes? In fact, the quality of the home learning environment could be more important than what happens in school. At the preschool we want to do all we can to support parents to support their children. As part of this we will shortly have the following support packs which parents can borrow:
Lending Library
We have two lending libraries. One is for children and one for adults. Sharing books with your child every day is vital to supporting their on-going engagement with stories and learning to read.
You can help yourself to a book to borrow for your child at any time and they can be found on the back of the information stand in the coffee lounge. The preschool manager has a range of books which parents might be interested to borrow, please speak to the preschool manager if you would like to borrow an adult book.
